No soap.

I have not been using soap, body soap or any type of facial cleaners for over 4 years. During this time I have been experimenting with different methods of keeping my skin clean and plain water with a luffa worked the best. Using this method, provide gentle exfoliation of death skin and keep pores open.

For the first few days, my skin felt thigh and dry, but after it returned to it soft and smooth state. Occasionally, I do use oils for my body, when I feel need for an extra protection.

Disclaimer: I am using soap on the daily basic to wash my hand and feet if walking bare foot.

Oil pulling.

I have first heard about oil pulling few years back and decided to give a go.  Oils that are mainly used for pulling are coconut, sunflower and sesame.

I personally use coconut oil as it has great properties etc. anti- bacterial, anti- fungal, prevent bleeding gums, kill bad breath, whiten teeth, reduce inflammation, and much more.

1 tbs. of oil, swish around for 20 min and spit the oil in the toilet to avoid blocking sink drain. Brush teeth as usual.

Epsom salt foot bath.

Very cheap and very effective way to relax muscle, joint and mind with a use of Epsom salt.

It can be used with essential oils for additional benefits as well added to the bath with baking soda and apple cider vinegar.

Epsom salt саn improve аthlеtе’ѕ fооt, toenail fungus,
ѕрrаіnѕ, gout, muscle soreness аnd bruises as well as rеѕtоrе immunity by pulling out harmful tоxіnѕ from thе body.

Start with 1/4 cup of salt in dissolved in the warm water, soaking feet for around 10-15 min.

Sage has loads of health benefits, can be used as a tea for digestive issues, added to food and used for smudging.

I personally use dry sage for smudging, which means burning. It has a long tradition of purifying and cleansing air from old energies.
